Welcome to my new photo gallery, all the photos shown on this site were taken with my Kodak Easyshare Z1285 - 12 Megapixel Zoom Digital Camera. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to photography, especially the digital variety, the only reason I'm taking photos now, is because the Kodak camera was given to me as a present for my birthday, thanks Mum and John :)

As I'm new to photography, I will try all I can to learn how to take better photos, I have recently joined a good photography forum at DPReview.com, and hopefully I can pick up some tips from the experts on there, it's a friendly forum with a wealth of information for people like me who are starting to learn.

I live on the South Coast in the UK, in a place called St Leonards On Sea, which is in the county of East Sussex. Apart from the fantastic coastline and scenery here, there are numerous ancient buildings, churches and castles in the area, along with many other places of historical interest.

I go out riding on my bike a lot in order to get fit, riding has been a new hobby of mine for the past few months, see my other website at Old Git On A Bike to track my progress. I can now combine getting fit with my photography, there will be a lot of opportunites for taking photos whilst out on my rides, which means the galleries should start filling up quickly as I go along.
